Be The Difference
IS A STANDARD I LIVE BY
It means taking responsibility for how I lead, how I live and the energy I bring to the people around me.
Every person has the capacity to change the way they lead, perform and live, but lasting change begins when we stop waiting for something outside us to change and take responsibility for what happens next.
I spent more than 20 years in sales and leadership, learning what it takes to build high-performing people, teams and cultures. I’ve experienced the pressure, responsibility and relentless expectations that come with ambitious goals—and I know what happens when success begins costing more than it gives.
That experience shaped the way I work today. I don’t believe people need more motivation, surface-level strategies or someone telling them to simply work harder. They need the clarity, energy, emotional fitness and capacity to carry the responsibility they already hold.
I call this being Client Zero: becoming the first person responsible for the standard you expect from everyone else. It means protecting your energy, keeping promises to yourself and living what you ask others to demonstrate.
Because my energy influences my execution. My execution shapes my impact. And what I build is only as strong as the person building it.
My work is not about becoming someone else. It’s about becoming more capable of being who you already know you can be.
MY STORY
MY STORY
Over more than 20 years in sales and leadership, progressing from the showroom floor to leading high-performing teams and businesses.
Along the way, I earned multiple Salesman of the Year and Sales Manager of the Year awards and contributed to two Dealer of the Year titles. One of my proudest professional achievements was helping transform a struggling dealership from the national bottom tier into a top-ten performer in Australia and the number-one dealership in Victoria—in less than two years.
Early in my career, a mentor gave me a piece of advice that shaped the leader I became:
“Build your replacement. You can’t climb the ladder until you have someone ready to fill your seat”
It taught me that leadership was never just about what I could achieve. It was about who I could help develop along the way.
WALKING AWAY FROM THE PLAN
For more than 15 years, I pursued one defining career goal: becoming a Dealer Principal.
When the opportunity finally arrived, I turned it down. Not once, but three times.
The decision made little sense on paper. It represented everything I had worked towards -status, recognition and financial success, but something in me knew that achieving the goal would not create the life I wanted to live.
I had spent years learning how to build successful businesses. Now I needed to understand how to build a successful life.
That meant questioning who I had become, redefining what success meant and walking away from an identity that had once given me certainty.
DISCOVERING ANOTHER WAY
My early approach to success relied heavily on effort, sacrifice and endurance. It produced results, but it wasn’t sustainable.
I saw talented people reach the top of their professions while losing their health, relationships and connection to themselves. I recognised parts of that pattern in my own life.
That became the foundation of my work today: helping people build the internal capacity to match the responsibility they carry.
Not by lowering their ambition, but by strengthening the person responsible for bringing it to life.
WHAT DRIVES MY WORK NOW
What has always mattered most to me is people: their growth, their courage and the moment they recognise they are capable of more than they had been conditioned to believe.
Today, I work through embedded coaching, interactive workshops and immersive retreats. Different environments, but one underlying purpose:
To challenge the way you think, so you can change the way you lead, perform and live.
I believe there is another way to create meaningful success. One that expands your life rather than consuming it.
THE PERSON BEYOND THE WORK
I grew up in Melbourne in a close Italian family, where food, loyalty and showing up for the people you love were simply part of life.
Movies - I love the classics; The Shawshank Redemption, Top Gun, The Pursuit of Happyness and, yes, The Notebook.
Sport - Formula 1 shows me the winning takes a team and UFC is the ultimate expression of vulnerability!
I’m a runner, an endurance athlete and someone endlessly curious about what the body and mind are capable of under pressure. Sometimes that means heading into the mountains for a trail run or signing myself up for a challenge that makes me question my own judgment.
Most importantly, I’m a husband to Kate. Our relationship continually reminds me that success means very little if the people closest to us only receive what is left over.
Being Client Zero means caring for my own capacity first, not from selfishness, but from responsibility. Meditation, movement, reading, breath work, recovery and time in nature help me protect the energy I bring to my work, my marriage and my life.
I don’t practise these things because I have life completely figured out. I practise them because this work is never finished.
